Chains is everything - hands down, my favourite of the Ghost Rebels.
From the second he walked on page in Out For Blood, he just called to my heart and after all this time, he still has me in an absolute chokehold.

This book dealt with feeling on a much more extreme level than the others - there was a sense of desperation and yearning - broken and unwanted. A perfect storm of emotion. ...more

Chains is pained and pining for Shauna but feels like he isn’t good enough for her. So he does something stupid while pushing her away.
Shauna is in love with Chains but chooses a different way to try and get over him after he pushes her away. Until the night she comes home to meet her nephew and walks in on a party going on at the MC for Chains who is finally free from Jail.

It has taken me a few days to be able to approach this and not want to yell at Kate for traumatising me!
As always, Kates writing had me hooked from the start. Now, 6 books in, I become increasingly obsessed with this series and its characters with each additional book. The overarching storyline is still as intriguing as ever, and Chains and Shauna's story fitted in perfectly with it. However, unlike the other books, the story between them is not complete at the end of the book, and the cl ...more
