Omegaverse at is best. Grace has done it again. With Alphas and a Beta who help friends Otellie-James and Lance’s pack to finding 2 Omega’s who turns their world upside down but in the best way possible.
For a pack who were broken Rio, Max and Llewllyn never thought Paloma and August along with a 3 legged dog and a parrot who sewars like a troper would be what the need to come out the other end.

Paloma was raised in a cult, her Omega nature was beaten and suppressed then eventually she's sold off like cattle.
Rescued by chance she moves in with a broken pack of military veterans; Rio and Max plus their wounded Alpha Llewellyn.
August is a VA therapist and has been working with Max and Rio for years so when they ask him to come help with a traumatized Omega he doesn't hesitate.
Together they work to seek security, justice and maybe some healing and love along the way.

Such a good continuation from book one, it backtracks slightly in the timeline to cover a major event (no spoilers) from the POV of two of this books MMCs, Max and Rio, instead of Lance from Ruffled Feathers, which was an amazing introduction to their dynamic in a familiar setting.
This book was amazing, but it was hard to read for the wife of a veteran. Grace did such an amazing job with explaining the reality of living with PTSD, and there were several points during the story that I had to ...more

This Why Choose Omegaverse story is not like anything else I have ever read. Our FMC Paloma has been rescued after growing up in a doomsday cult and being trafficked, and our MMC’s are all in various stages of PTSD, dealing with prior military conflict or extreme traumatic situations - however - this is one of the most beautifully written, fun and enjoyable reads. While obviously, its very trigger heavy, there is amazing self discovery, second chances and personal growth throughout, and the auth

I read this a while ago so let’s just talk vibes. Grace McGinty never fails me in her handling of trauma and consent. These characters show so much care to each other and it is beautifully written. The FMC rediscovering her joy for like with the help of 4 different but equally lovely men is such fun to read. The sexual tension between the hot alpha and the omega he doesn’t think he deserves is top tier in both situations it shows up. Trust me and give this one a chance. It is the second ...more

Omega verse anyone?
Polly never expected to find joy in life. Beaten, downtrodden and worthless her whole life, the idea of being safe was alien to her, let alone happy.
So when she finds a pack of her own with men who care about her and care FOR her its hard to accept, but her boys - all four of them - will do ANYTHING for her.
There are moments of intense sadness as Polly works through the pain and trauma from her past, and some beautiful moments of vulnerability, and when barriers come down th ...more

The way she describes PTSD is so accurate and detailed. It really pulls at the heart strings. I love how gentle the Pack treat her, because of her trauma, but they are just as broken as she is. I literally sobbed out loud when she bit/ claimed Llew!!
I love that this books explains all the ins and outs of the Omegaverse.
