This book drew me in so quickly that by the ending of the Prologue I was so invested in the FMC (Lyra) that I was choking up, because that beginning... my heart broke for her!
This action packed story had me so hooked, and so actively invested in the characters and their wellbeing that I read it start to finish in a day!

This book is a prime example of my Mila is one of my instant autobuy authors!
Straight up - this is not a why choose, and it is a freaking FABULOUS M/F love story, but just like the characters, you have to WORK for the spice!
Lyra and Theron have history - and when she ends up being the contestant in his version of the mazerunner / hunger games - well, things get a bit hectic all round.
Action, drama, angst - and the sweet slow burn - its got ALL OF IT!!!

this is book 2 but do not need to read book 1.

I am an epic fantasy reader, and this is very much in this ballpark! I don't think I have read any of her books before, but I will be diving into all of them after this one!!! I couldn't put it down! I LOVE that there are spicy scenes but the book also has a great plot!! The way the spicy scenes are sprinkled through are great. They aren't silly or unbelievable, I can picture myself physically in them. It gives off Maze runner vs Romeo and Juliet kinda vibes!

OMG I loved it. Wolf shifter have taken my heart again.
When your heart gets broken, it takes time to get over it and come out the other side. Nothing says friends to lovers like fighting for you life against your own packs.

This story was really cute and had some great spicy moments in it but not overwhelming. Great storyline but gave closure for next books. Good happy endings.
