4/5 stars!

This is a fantastic debut! It’s easy to read, quick paced and hooks you in from the start! This sets up amazingly for the series!

I did not see some of the twists coming! I’m left with so many questions and am filled with so much excitement with what’s to come!

Temptation Awakened is the introductory Novella to the Den series, A Paranormal Romance.
It features Aria, a young FMC at 18 and very Princess locked in Tower vibes. It is really good introduction to the characters and the world. There is the right amount of background without info dumping. The foreshadowing is strong but you may only see it after each of the reveals . Each reveal builds the tension leading Aria making a difficult choice between her protective and carefully controlled mother and

2024:

I love this book. It was so easy and quick to read. It's definitely a fantastic teaser of what is to come for the series. KV Ankers has this book written so well, there are absolutely no gaps, and it just feels so polished.
I adore Aria as an FMC. She's strong-willed and sassy but still filled with so much love. I feel like things are going to get very interesting for her as this series continues...

"You are no Princess. You are a Queen who deserves to be worshipped."

Rating: 4.5 stars (and 2.5 for the spice) ⭐️🌶️

Temptation Awakened was my first foray into the paranormal romance genre, and I have to say, it was a great introduction! This quick read kept me hooked from start to finish with its intriguing storyline and a few unexpected twists and turns that I didn’t see coming.

While the romance was enjoyable, the “spice” level was fairly mild—I’d rate it at 2.5—but it fit well within the context of the story and allowed the connections between the characters to

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️

Fast paced, suspenseful, thrilling, sprinkle in some steamy build up and it will have you hooked until you realise you've devoured the whole book in one sitting.

For such a short novella it was jam packed with a wonderful balance of world building information from their past and the current situations our FMC was going through. As well as a few plot twists that will make you gasp!

This book was a perfect set up for the rest of the series that is to come, and I will absolutely be reading

If half stars were an option, I’d give this 3.5—but it didn’t quite earn a 4 for me. While I can see the potential for the story to develop into something engaging, this novella didn’t have enough to fully draw me in. When I finished, my reaction was simply “meh.”

It felt like this story needed to be expanded into a larger, more complete narrative to really resonate. That said, I wouldn’t discount reading more from this author in the future—this just didn’t leave me eager to dive into the next bo

This quick read is a delicious start for a debut author. You track through the secret and protected life of Aria who has only known a sheltered existence from her mother.

What you soon find out is she is an heir to a kingdom, and she has no idea who or what she really is. Fuelled by betrayal and the thirst of knowledge to find out about herself, she makes a decision that could lead to heartbreak and pain or it could awaken who she really is.

Grade A debut here, K.V.
Wandering Bear
This was one incredible debut introductory novella by K.V. Ankers, and I am desperately waiting for the next instalment in The Den series.

I loved how Aria's backstory wasn't dumped in one big lump on us, instead being drip-fed throughout, slowly building the world we are about to encounter and leaving you to wonder who she can really trust.

One of the best things about this story for me was the little things that didn't really seem to mean much at the time I was reading it, suddenly meant everyth

“You’re right to be offended. You are no Princess. You are a Queen who deserves to be worshipped. So get up on that table, your majesty, because I am going to devour you.”

I devoured it in one sitting! I was hooked and couldn't out it down!

The story was well paced and cleverly written to not have a whole heap of backstory at the beginning, but drip feeding it throughout the story to have revelation after revelation about the FMC Aria and her past/heritage.

There were hints and clues lead
