Strong FMC, surrounded by really good-looking men, and a LOT of animal rescue…what more could you want from a book!
The characters were so well built, and the way she wrote PTSD and military trauma was really well done!! There wasn't as much smut as I expected, although I really liked the caring and supportiveness and courting each other that the Pack all did.
The book pulled at the heart strings. It was very funny in parts, and very sad in parts too!

A fantastic intro book to the omegaverse.
We have rescue dogs, swearing parrots, kittens, stepbrother plus his best friend, veterans, animal activism, omega heats and goats that just can't get enough azaleas.
Otille-James or OJ for short was raised by her dad away from high society or much civilization at all so isn't really used to the Alpha/Omega hierarchy but when she's 16 he gets married and she's thrown into a high society with an alpha stepbrother and his best friend that she just can' ...more

Grace has done it again with Omegaverse and what twists in this book make it what it is and wanting to keep reading even when its time for sleep or work.
Otillie-James didn't have your typical upbringing for someone who ends up in the world of the wealthy. Sonny and Truit have been there since OJ as they called her since she was 16 and her father married Sonny's mother. They have seen her ups and downs along with them also going away to Uni.
Otellie seems to get into a lot of trouble and this is ...more

Such a great story with extremely lovable characters! Otillie-James was an amazing FMC and her strength and sass made this book phenomenal. This book would not have worked as well if the FMC hadn't been such a strong willed, driven and independent person! Each of the MMC's balanced a different facet of her strong personality perfectly and came together as a well functioning cohesive unit.
I would also like to commend Grace McGinty for the way in which she dealt with the trauma in Lance's ...more

This was such a fun read from McGinty that had me giggling, swooning and grinning the whole time. It's the perfect combination of romance, comedy, spice and OV goodness wrapped into one book, filled with characters you can't help but love - and want to know more about - set on the backdrop of a woman who just wants to save all the animals (she's after my own heart, I swear).

Ruffled feathers is well paced and fun why choose Romantic Comedy with a forbidden romance, a grumpy sunshine trope, a protector figure and and male Omega that will have you panting. "Fuck. We were going to die. But what a way to go."
Ruffled Feathers is a good read for anyone who is looking for an Omegaverse Why Choose Romance. With a good balance of storyline, humour, character development and spice - this would make the perfect start for a series of shared world standalones.
Tropes: MMMFM, bonded, friends to lovers, slow burn and forced proximity.

Is there anything Grace McGinty can't write?
As always, anything McGinty writes is pure gold.
This book somehow perfectly juggles an incredibley beautiful, light hearted rom-com with some super dark topics like animal abuse, PTSD, flash backs of War Conflicts, separation of class and societal norms.
While it hits all these topics in depth, and with real respect it flows with the underlying rom-com that keeps you smiling like an idiot at your kindle.
Highly recommend this read, even if you aren't ...more
