I received this book as my first ever ARC and I am far from disappointed. If The Ritual & Haunting Adeline had a baby that wasn’t as dark, this would be it and I devoured BOTH of those books.

The Brotherhood is a secret society, introducing Wards for their Brothers and initiating them together in the future. But the Wards must be trained to obey for the test.

I had the opportunity to ARC read this amazing book from Zara J Black.
I was hooked from the beginning and couldn't put it down.

Gabriel is part of a secret society that is trying to better mankind through science. For Gabriel this is a dream come true until he finds out his must take a ward to completely become a part of the brotherhood. He must take a woman to own and to tame. Eve is everything he wants, smart, beautiful, alluring and obedient (with some persuasion).

This is the crossover between the Lords series and Stepford wives that we didn't know we needed!!!

Eve is a strong minded FMC who is studying in the STEM field at university, who is already in inner turmoil after coming from a deeply religious family and into the world of science and therefore has a horrible relationship with her family, particularly her mother. So I have to admit I was a little surprised at how quickly the Stockholm Syndrome kicked in.

I will admit when I read in the blurb it was a secret society of men, I wasn't expecting this type of secret society!

Zara did an amazing job with the writing for the FMC. She was able to give just enough information that you feel mentally attached to her, without feeling burnt out from an info dump.

The MMC you will hate to love, thankfully he definitely has some redeeming qualities, and in the end, you will still be routing for him. 🖤

All in all, it was a nice quick read and had just the right amount of plot twists that it didn't seem overdone.

This book is on the darker side of grey, so make sure you check triggers if you're new to the dark side. Some themes in this book could be very disturbing to some.

PLEASE CHECK YA TRIGGER WARNINGS before reading this book.

This book had me on the edge of my seat, the twists it takes has me going wild! I enjoyed their story and journey together, the smut is SPICY. I’m so curious about where this series goes, I really enjoyed this couple story

If you are looking for something with plenty of spicy smut, sexual tension, and deep, dark desires. Make sure to pick this up and dice head first in.

She is the only one and a good girl, with an attitude and spirit 😉 He would do anything for her, and she would do the same, even dealing with his damn persona shifts.

Secret Society who take women and they can't ever go back into society. These brothers are not what you would expect and neither are their wards.
