Shadows of the Lost Relic follows our FMC Lyra (a descendant of the Tooth fairy), as she is abruptly thrown into a world, she definitely did not want any part of. Throw in the mix 3 extremely radiant triplets, Theo, Evan and Kane (who are also all decedents of old gods) and 1 quiet broody tech geek, Caspian, who is absolute fire, literally and figuratively. terrifying monsters, enchanted relics, an organization who seem shady on the underneath and you have a recipe for utter chaos.

That is until she meets the triplets Theo, Evan and Kane plus their friend Caspian. They introduce her to the Vanguard, a place where she can put her skills to good and retrieve artifacts before they are used for evil.

This book is so good.
I love how the FMC is strong and just amazing.
this is an RH but by the end of to book she is only conceited to 3, only kissed 2, slept with 1. its not fade to black so its on the page. there has been no talk about being all together yet but they all feel something.

It has secret societies,found family and FMC with prophesied destiny. It is slow burn in the relationships but the pacing moves through the story without facing any lag. The plays on the descendants of some of the gods and mythical creatures we know is really interesting and the story has left room to develop this. Shadow of the Lost relic sees Lyra (a descendant of the tooth fairy) abandoned at a young age and becoming a world-class thief to survive. She is approached by gorgeous triplets and a tech genius, to recruit her to the Vanguard, a Scion organisation tasked with gathering and protecting ancient artifacts from those who would use them for harm.
The character development was great! Reminded me of Percy Jackson mixed with something like Men in black spies stuff. The FMC was a bad-ass, which I loved!

Shadow of the Lost relic is a nice short read being just over 200 pages. Based around lyra main female character, male triplets Kane, theo and Evan, and male friend Caspian. A slow burn, why choose fantasy opening up for more books to come. Follow the characters as they join hands working for the Vangaurd to protect the peace and keep the balance as they venture off to find the Lost relics before the evil forces 'shadowborn'. Which way are the fate strings gonna pull them and an unknown prophecy

This book has me in its grip from the moment I read the first page. With so many twisting turns and surprises it’ll keep you on your toes and wanting more.
The world building was well done I could imagine being there seeing them all talk and fight and be part of the world. It’s such a great start to a series and sets up a world I’m really excited to dive into.
