I loved this story - its quirky, funny, and has layers upon layers of donuts - i mean, character development!

When SJ, the son of Satan, is sent to entice more folks to his kingdom to make Daddy happy, he sets about observing these humans with one objective - finding what they desire, and giving it to them in a bogus trade for their soul!

When his grand plan collides with Jemma - a vibrant artsy human with loads of sass and personality but not much else - the plan takes on a life of i

we follow our FMC Jemma Bliss as she navigates a life she was thrust into by no choice of her own. Trauma can be an overwhelming thing to overcome, whilst she is a happy and go lucky woman, with an amazing best friend, a cheeky little ferret named Luci-fer (Lucy) and a cute little crocheting business, she is only just surviving. The bills pile up, the fridge is not as full as it can be, and her weekly highlight is the girls she's helping with her art to overcome their own obstacles.

Wow, Layla has done it again with another Paranormal Rom Com.

I love that Jemma does what she wants even when she has lots of people telling her she needs to do things differently. Jemma volunteers as an Art Therapist and crocheters cosplay outfits for her ferret Luci-fer which she then sells at local markets. When she goes to get her gluten free donut towards the end of the day and finds they have been sold already she is not happy and things happen when she gets drunk and decides to sell her so

ARC Book Review 🍩 My Soul for a Donut by Layla Pine
I am ready to sell my soul for gluten-free donuts and a little devil worship, okay???

Let me just say… this book? It bamboozled me. I was floating in a fluffy cloud of romcom giggles, vibing with ferret costumes and crochet hooks—then BAM! Existential spice crisis. Satan Jnr has entered the chat and he’s hot, sarcastic, and on a recruitment mission from hell (literally). Jemma? Just a girl trying to survive life with her yarn stash, her donuts, a

I hands down have to admit this was the most fun I've ever had reading a book. Seriously. I giggled, I kicked my feet, I swooned and I outright cackled as I read this one. It's the perfect combination of rom-com goodness, with a side of heart, an epic fake dating plot, a fair few "WTF" moments, and so much delicious tension wrapped in it's pretty cover.

I won't like, she thicc, and I was nervous going into it. But you just fly through the pages as y

Jemma Bliss would sell her soul for some gluten free donuts so when she gets a message after a few drinks from 'friend pay' that offers her the donuts delivered on a buy now pay later offer how could she say no. It's not until she meets SJ who shows up to collect payment that she realised she might have made a mistake, even if he is fan fic Draco Malfoy hot. SJ on the other hand doesn't really want to follow in his dad's footsteps, his much more fascinated with the humans specifically one

This steamy, paranormal romantic comedy brings you laughter, red cheeks and angst in a good way. This is a slow burn romantic comedy with a feisty pink haired coealiac who has a love for GF donuts and ferrets. Down on her luck with a traumatic past, she meets someone who grinds her gears.

Satan Junior or SJ for short has a job to do. Fix the problem down in H3LL with his kingdom. Little does he know that his life is about to upended in glorious fashion with

3.5/5

This isn't my typical pick when it comes to rom-coms, but I was fortunate to receive an ARC of this book.

It was an enjoyable read overall, though it felt a bit lengthy and took me longer than expected to really get into the story. That said, the unexpected plot twist definitely took me by surprise—in the best way—and definitely elevated the whole experience. I did genuinely enjoy the last 40% of the book.

Jemma was such a quirky character, and I absolutely loved SJ—the author did a fantas

Layla you have done it again. I devoured this book!
Satan Jnr is trying to find more souls for hell. Jemma is trying to get through life. She loves to crotchet ferret costumes and lives for gluten free donuts. This book has it all, witty banter, some very cute pets, a pay in 4 payment plan and lots of spice (SJ's trick 🥵).
It will make you smile, laugh, cry and everything in between.
If you love a fun, spicy, emotional, he falls first, fake dating, enemies to lovers paranormal romance this is the

I Was blessed to be an ARC reader. Really its a 3.5 but sadly i cant put that (not coz of book but goodreads)

It was a good book bit long with a lot of Innerlogue. It was a long read and i kind of struggled with it not because of the Author but because it just wasn't a book for me. There was a bit to much going on for my brain to keep up with.

I was lucky enough to be able to read this book as an ARC read. This is the first book I have read by Layla Pine and I loved it!
When Jemma accidentally sells her soul to Satan Junior for some donuts (something I would probably do), her life is suddenly turned upside down.
Can the ferret loving human, find a way to win back her soul, without falling in love with a Devil?
Ferrets. Transforming hellhounds. Cosplay. Monster smut. Heaven and Hell. Unexpected twists and turns. This book has it all!

My Soul for a Donut was the PERFECT blend of Paranormal and Rom Com. There is some beautiful & touching moments, some fuck around and find out moments and some moments I laughed so hard I snorted. This was such a brilliant, easy read and I loved every second!

Cute story and great monsters kinkiness things happening in it. A good palette cleanser book for a one book full story and good closure at end.
