Well, dayyumm! This had me at masked men, I downloaded this arc so fast. What a great read to kick off October 🎃 this novella is about a woman, Lily, who breaks up with her boyfriend after he told everyone about her deepest darkest desires. She inherits her grandmothers house in a small town where she enters a cemetery during the town Halloween festivities. A spicy dark why-choose romance...
This book definitely has a bit of everything!
A very quick and easy read - I enjoyed the exploration into fantasies that would be considered taboo or against most societal norms.
There was a fantastic balance in this book that made reading it enjoyable. I also appreciated that the FMC got to experience her fantasies basically from the start, and then the rest of the story was built from there (typically, it would be the other way around).

For smut sake
Don’t Get Caught is a fast-paced, twisty read that kept me turning the pages, but it didn’t quite stick the landing for me. The premise is intriguing, equal parts cat-and-mouse and suspense, but some of the character motivations felt a bit shaky, and the plot relied heavily on convenience at times.
That said, if you can suspend your belief and you’re looking for a quick, smutty read that doesn’t demand too much emotional investment, this one might hit the spot.

Well okay then. I'm a little distur8ed by how much I enjoyed this. It was a solid and original storyline with some great characters. They just fit perfectly together in a small-minded town that eats gossip for breakfast.
If you're looking for a hot, pr1mal, why choose, masked men spicy romance? Look no further. This is a perfect and quick read to get those fantasies satisfied.

This book was a ride. Straight into the action which is just how our MC Lily likes it. The opening of the book has a please read me that is hilarious but you should definitely read because the author is serious about what she warns you. The characters show their personalities quickly and are distinct. I liked all of our main characters immediately. I devoured this book in one night, the plot is fairly basic yet enough to keep you interested. The spice is great and I cannot stress how much I loved seeing scene aftercare in a book as well as clear consent and boundaries.

This is one of the best spicy novella’s I have ever read. Absolutely love jaye’s writing style and I was fully captivated from the very beginning. Finished in one sitting as there was no way I was putting this one down. Loved the fact that I was able to find a favourite character in such a short amount of time.
I was left wanting more when it finished and I will absolutely be reading more of jaye’s books!
