The Way I Used to Be is one of those books that gets under your skin and stays there. Reading Eden’s story felt like carrying a heavy weight, but in a way that made me stop and think about how real and painful trauma can be. It’s raw, messy, heartbreaking and sometimes frustrating but that’s exactly what makes it feel so real.
