What Members Thought
this book was definitely something. it captivated me how she went from someone who felt so alone to someone surrounded by love and friends. the character growth in this is beautiful and I love the relationship between her and her parents. normally Asian parents are strict on making as much money as possible but her parents emphasized her on being a good person more.

lately, i have been reading a lot of WONDERFUL 5-4 star books. they’ve been A. M. A. Z. I. N. G.
but im sorry this is the best book ive read all June. i devoured it in one day and I need it back. i wish it was a series but it ended SO SATISFYINGLY the last page was written so beautifully and perfectly i can’t even be mad. i cried js bc of how good the last page was and bc i was sad to let the characters go.

Henry was such a cute character, so oblivious to the fact that him and Alice “hated each other.” Henry’s character was so beautifully scripted; rich, slightly arrogant, but caring and charismatic.
