What a massive disappointment.
I went into this book after reading and adoring I Hope This Doesn’t Find You by the same author. Unfortunately, from the very start, this book didn’t grip me like the previous one. It was boring to read, and honestly, I flew through the first hundred pages in no time—mostly because I was eager to get it over with.

Okay but casting might be really hard for this one, because this essentially has a c-dramaish plot, BUT ITS IN ENGLISH. Have i mentioned how hard it is to find hot Asian actors that SPEAK ENGLISH FLUENTLY WITHOUT AN ACCENT ? (Doesn't Henry have a british accent ?) ...more

anna’s books have the same plot, a broke asian girl going to a fancy rich private school and either she has an academic rival or likes a this rich boy who would prob never accept who she is. then there’s a girl who she doesn’t want to show to her that she’s broke and she tries to pretend all rich. and the fmc’s parent’s are having a hard time and they lives in a pretty tiny house.

4⭐️ omg this book was not at all what i was expecting but i loved it anyway. some of the stuff i just wanted to scream at alice not to do it especially their last thing when they tried to kidnap that one guy. it was actually so funny how they were able to pin it all on the guy who sent the request and i almost felt bad for him but it was his fault.
