What a massive disappointment.

I went into this book after reading and adoring I Hope This Doesn’t Find You by the same author. Unfortunately, from the very start, this book didn’t grip me like the previous one. It was boring to read, and honestly, I flew through the first hundred pages in no time—mostly because I was eager to get it over with.

anna’s books have the same plot, a broke asian girl going to a fancy rich private school and either she has an academic rival or likes a this rich boy who would prob never accept who she is. then there’s a girl who she doesn’t want to show to her that she’s broke and she tries to pretend all rich. and the fmc’s parent’s are having a hard time and they lives in a pretty tiny house.

omg I LOVED this book so much. I would say its pretty underrated and the characters are so well written. I found Alice and Henry both to be so relatable. For anyone looking for a light comfort read, this is the book for it.
