hmm so im thinking 3.90 - 4 ☆!!

(guys trust me i know thats literally 4 stars and 3.90 is pushing it... BUT I HAVE MY REASONS!!)

Wow! What was this? What... I think that's the best word to describe this book: "What".

In my entire life I've only read one thriller (and not the best one out there- I guessed all the twists). So when I bought Five Survive, my expectations were low. This was my very first book by this author (I haven't read Agggtm yet - I know, I know, don't come after me). I'm telling you, Holly Jackson's mind is a labyrinth and her writing style... "Five Survive" is THE popcorn read of thriller.
I'm sorry, why did the story lack so much and yet still ate it up?

• I really liked most of the characters, the MC felt quite complex for what it is too
• The plot twists were predictable, but they were still entertaining once uncovered
• The pace and progression was really good

My issue is the potential that the premise had, but it was wasted: 6 teens stuck somewhere and a sniper watching, only 5 survive.

I'm actually sobbing rn.

This book made me feel like no book ever did.
I freakin put my kindle in the fridge while cleaning cuz i couldn't put it aside 💀

Arthur has my heart.

I kinda guessed most of the plot twist but the beginning was so mysterious and so fun so it didn't matter.
I felt so much while reading this book...
