This book was a chef’s kiss! It was a little slow in the beginning, but regardless, any chance I got to read this book, I took it!! Plus, my man, Trystan, had me running around my home, talking to the invisible camera man, and giggling even when he wasn’t doing anything evil. Also, Trystan calls Evie LITTLE TORNADO!!! MY STANDARDS ARE RAISED EVEN MORE!!!
On the topic of Evie, she’s such a relatable character. For example, whenever she starts talking and it can be misinterpreted, she just goes on ...more

I didn't know how much I was going to love this book, but when I read the first page, I fell completely in love with it.
It was captivating and devastating both in the worst and best ways.
I love the pace of everything, and I love how the story is told from both of their point of view, which made everything ten times better.
I'm so glad that I have the second book and the third book already sitting on myself, because I don't think I can wait to read what happens next! ...more

(1.5 stars, rounded up) ⭐⭐
I've read some insanely cringey things in my life, but this book was definitely the worst. Every single thing that came out of someone's mouth made me need literal therapy. I was literally so SO SOO close to DNFing this book, but I forced myself through it thinking that it might get better (it did not, in fact, get better). This book felt like a child's perception of adults and how they interact. The only redeeming factor (if there even is one) is (view spoiler) ...more

Okay, first of all: lmfao. I loved the humor in this book; I giggled every chapter. The writing style was addictive, I haven’t loved a writing style this much since reading Tahereh Mafi's books🤍. At first, it was a chill read, then it turned dramatic. But I loved the chill parts so mu ...more
