Ok so I know I’ve been reading this for 2 months and considering I’m a super fast reader that doesn’t make this book look good but I swear it was omg. I’ve just been super busy and didn’t have time to read. This book was utterly amazing, like the overall theme was just so impactful and some of the stuff really resonated with me and I expect to remember it for a while. When I first saw this book I read the back and was super intrigued - cause like girl is cursed to live forever with no one rememb ...more

This book is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking books I have ever read. Being one of my first historical-fiction type books, I am glad to say that this book has genuinely intrigued me and I will definitely be reading more in this genre.

"Small places make for small lives. And some people are fine with that. They like knowing where to put their feet. But if you only walk in other people's steps, you cannot make your own way. You cannot leave a mark."

this book's writing is so poetic and thoughtful, this is my first v.e schwab book and im definitely going to read more of her work! i'll definitely reread this book in a few years, like this is a type of book that shouldn't be read once, you should reread it throughout your life.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is beautifully written, I just wanna cry. Some things irritated me, of course, but I guess that's the point of reading, for books to evoke different emotions in us. While the romance actually didn't make any deep impression on me, I think I fell in love with the main character.. Addie, Addie, Addie, how could I forget you? <3
