I really enjoyed this story but I did not enjoy reading it. I was truly bored. It being told like a fairytale was sweet but it felt so monotone & completely predictable. Also I can't stand when FMC's are purposely stupid. Why are you doing everything you're being told not to??? I haven't decided if I'm going to start the 2nd book or not yet

tbh i’m pleasantly surprised by Once Upon a Broken Bin.
i didn’t expect much. but the dynamic between Evangeline and Jacks? beautiful. the constant twists and turns and uncertainty of the truth? exquisite. stephanie garbage’s writing style? on the contrary to my nickname for her, it’s quite literally amazing.
i’m glad i decided to read this series after embarking on the wondrous adventures of the Caraval trilogy.
excited to read the sequelll

i love the atmosphere of this book!! jacks is such an interesting character and i’m excited to read the next two books hopefully soon :)

YES! This book is so good and I can't explain why. Everything about it was just the perfect vibe. This book reminded me a lot of One Dark Window and The Cruel Prince with how whimsical it was.
