Holy crap, I have no words for this book. It felt so good to be back in this universe, I didn't realize how much I'd missed it. I spent all day yesterday enveloped in this book and when I finished it I didn't know what to do with myself. I'll miss being in their story and sort of experiencing the deep love Kai and Paedyn had for each other. Even though they are obviously fictional characters they still made such a big impact on my life ...more

I’m conflicted about this book…. I LOVED LOVED LOVED everything between Kai and Paedyn. All of the longing and love and stolen moments! But then there was the rest of the book…. Especially the ending🤦🏻‍♀️. The ending was full of plot twists that didn’t seem believable and felt forced. The entirety of the last 150 pages had me utterly confused as to what Roberts intentions were. It was honestly a clusterfuck of information and craziness that was in my opinion unnecessary ...more

4.25 stars! I loved this book!! it was my least favorite book of the series, but I still really loved it! I will say I was satisfied with the ending 😌 I was expecting some of the plot twists, but there were still things I wasn't expecting!

I HATED powerless and powerless was still better than this. The only reason I finished it was because I don’t like dnfing books. Lauren said that reckless was a filler book to prepare us for fearless but reckless was wayyyy better than whatever this was.

I have mixed feelings 🫠.
First of all I have MANY mixed feelings for Kitt. When I started the book I didn't really hate him, but I also didn't like him. Halfway through the book, I started loving him, but at the end... Honestly, I don't know what to feel.
