This is one of the longest Phryne Fisher books, if not THE longest. I don't really know how it took up so many pages...it seemed to fly by!
There were many editorial errors that really annoyed me, however, most notably the inexplicable "Mr."s. I think they were supposed to be "Mr. Butler," but for some reason the "Butler" part didn't make it in every time. Other than that, there were redundancies within sentences ("I absolutely you forbid you to do that" sort of thing) and Mr. Lines' instead of M ...more
