I'm glad I saw the tv series first before I started this book. I found that the book gave more in depth details than the tv show (of course) and I liked that I had ohh that's why moments while I read the book with the tv show in mind. Due to everyday life, I wasn't able to sit constantly and do nothing but read the book so it took me a while since I'd go back a few pages to refresh where I was.
Even though I did this series backwards, having done that didn't take away from enjoying the beginning. ...more
