What Members Thought
This book is pure romance! Not in the modern sense, but in the traditional sense: the hero and his deeds are hugely romanticized. Drama abounds, though it is mostly emotional and psychological rather than, say, swashbuckling. Maybe not surprising, as most of the book is from Marguerite’s perspective, and she is a former actress. It does suffer from the “if you two would just TALK to each other” trope.
