I picked up Universe For Sale because the blurb mentions a new evolution theory that the main character Cal is out to prove. I think that is a trifle misleading since as some reviewers have stated it is more of a space opera. It does have some interesting ideas and side notes however, such as that earth was originally inhabited by aliens who came to form the human race.
