WOW!! That book was amazing!!
The "peculiar children" in this book are like a blend between X-Men and the toys from the Island of Misfit Toys from the Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer story.I was fascinated by the title and enjoyed the beginning to middle of the book. After that, it became a bit contrived. However, I realize that this book was written with a teenaged audience in mind and I think that it would likely be enjoyed by many of that demographic.
