Note, March 24, 2020: I edited this just now to correct a typo.
Though I listed this book as "read" since 1999, there were a few stories I'd skipped, and which I just read this past week. I still did not read the numerous novel excerpts (see below)! My rating, of course, is an overall ranking for the anthology as a whole; some stories would get five stars, and some certainly less than three.
