Stevenson's only foray into the science fiction genre, Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde reflects his characteristic moral orientation and Romantic style --it's very much in the tradition of Romantic SF, with its scientist as alienated loner using science and reason to pursue dark and dangerous ends.
