So it must have been better than good because I read it again. Part of the reason is because I stumbled upon the audiobook and it was narrated by the author. And also that the movie is coming out soon. Walls' writing style is so lean and concise and that is the real beauty of this narrative. Walls' story is not surreal. A heart-rending story. The author tells her story, however, with a perspective that allows the reader to make his/her own judgements and see the characters as human beings even if appalled at their behavior.
