I, evidently, was the only one in my book discussion who absolutely loved this book. I thought the writing was exquisite with detail and believable dialogue.
The story is told through alternating chapters in two different times. Evelyn Aubry's story starts in 1898 but her great-great granddaughter's part happens in 2016.
