Nero, what can you say about this man? He's insanely insane, he has a questionable sense of justice, he's has no qualms about stalking and the list goes on. But, above all that the way he loves Payton is, dare I say sweet, cute, all consuming, obsessive over the top. All that and much more. And it's just what she needs. Both their back stories were heartbreaking, as you know they're going to be. They are perfect together. You can't help but cheer for them and their HEA 😀

I loved this book! I am so glad I finally broke down and read this. Nero, Nero, Nero. What can I say without revealing to much? Nero is intense but is funny at times too. One of my favorite quotes by Nero is, “If I decide I’m too good for Taco Bell, put a bullet in my brain and end my misery.”
I am excited to read the rest of the series, I have heard the books keep getting better throughout the series, but I feel Nero will be hard to beat.

Overall, I liked the story, but I think that fact that I've read a few books lately with women with self-confidence issues or who were abused in some way, that I'm a bit more sensitive to how the men in their life treat them.
With that being said I had a hard time with Nero's tactics when dealing with Payton, especially that scene at the party when he was trying to scare her away for her own good. And really, what ended up being the point.?

🤯🤯🤯 i couldnt put this book down , the way payton is , the way Nero is, the incredibly shocking moments ( in a good way ) i was hooked from the first moment to the last , im so hoping to have the next two books read in a few days so that i get to enjoy book 4 with my nya , omg god - king , later on in the book ! 😮😮😮
