First part of another great story of helpless males and omnipotent females.
There's something in the water in the small mountain town of Satin Falls. Unfortunately for the males of this township this 'something' is a strange new virus that only affects them, making them unable to resist obeying any command given by a female.

I love Ann's writings. But in my eyes this book is too overrated. Although the idea of the story is marvelous it's execution is pretty bad. There are too many characters, but except one, none are built properly. There are too many storylines going haphazardly. Maybe the story should have stuck with Melanie as main character and kept everyone else as secondary, and avoid giving detailed scenes to those.
