As usual another great read from Irene's stock of golden nuggets. Very few come close to her when it comes to plot-driven non-consensual femdom. A genre I love to read. At times I get biased while writing about her books as well.

Valedictions is by and large about the feminization of a guy at the hands of his domineering and scheming mother in law. He keeps falling into a downward spiral, the path she has decided for him. He has an unfaithful wife who is enjoying her business trip with her alpha As usual another great read from Irene's stock of golden nuggets. Valedictions is by and large about the feminization of a guy at the hands of his domineering and scheming mother in law. He keeps falling into a downward spiral, the path she has decided for him. He has an unfaithful wife who is enjoying her business trip with her alpha male boss and will soon get the "deserved" promotion while her naive, timid, docile husband will be waiting for her in his feminized form.

There is another subplot of a female victim at the hands of another scheming lady who is a close friend of the devious mother in law and both friends do not understand the word morality. But then which dominant female in Irene's universe does that? Don't we all love her writing for the same? Yes two friends are accomplished blackmailers and have victims who are money-making machines for them.

Though I feel a lot of real estate has been spent on this subplot. But that is enjoyable too. Especially about the idea of this girl being used as a pornstar in BDSM production with the usage of real implements. Irene has touched on this aspect in her other story "Cruel Divorce" where the divorced husband is actually going through the torment in front of the camera instead of acting.

There is a mention of a guy being driven to suicide due to blackmail by the cruel MIL and her friend. How I wish I could see a good short story on the ways it was done.

Personally, I would have wanted to see more victimization of the feminized husband at the hands of his wife post his transformation. But Irene fleetingly transfers him to live with her and her boss when they decided to move in together. His/her life as a live in slave of wife and her lover aren't detailed out. May be sometime later, some other unwilling victim, some other plot in Irene's world.

All in all a good read. ...more

This could be a good book if the characters were properly built before they started playing major roles in the two story-lines intermingled in this book. It's important to learn that the description of this book only contains details of one of the two story-lines. In fact, the story on the subject of the man's subjugation by his mother-in-law, and force feminizing him contains much lesser words count compared to the second story-line.
