This was a good book, though the Old Testament was a lot darker and more arduous than I had been expecting (even though I did expect stuff).
I started reading some time between late 2002 and the spring of 2003 (probably May 2003 or so). I finished the Old Testament on 6 Nov 2007. I finished the New Testament on 19 Aug 2008. As you can see, I took my time—but it was a long book, and not as easy to read for long periods as fiction.

Our church Sunday School is studying the Old Testament this year, so my wife (who is from Finland) and I (who served a 30 month Mormon mission to Finland from February 1957 to August 1959) read out loud from the Bible each day. She reads in English and I read in Finnish, which helps us both in our comprehension and pronunciation of our 2nd language.
MY FAV! ILL ALWAYS HAVE THIS BY MY BED! HELPS ME NOT HAVE BAD DREAMS AFTER A SCARY MOVIE!
Reading New Testament
I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father, I love their words!
Very educational! A must read! Read this book because there WILL be a test!!
