The reason for this rating is that, even though I loved the story, it was a little hard for me to get into at first. I found myself reading a few pages and then putting it down again. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it a full five stars.

This book reminded me of Cinderella—with a twist.

I liked this a lot more than I thought.

I don't know what is Stephanie on but like girl give me some cuz she's so creative and her stories are just unmatched on another level.
I have no idea where she gets the inspo for her books but like wow, and the attention to details like ughhhh😩

I really liked Evangeline's character and the way she thinks and I'm also glad that we got to see more of Jacks. I wasn't the biggest fan of him in the caraval series but he started to grow on me a lot more, which w ...more
