THIS!!!! THIS IS WHAT I LOOK FOR IN A ROMANTASY FOR YA OMG I FOUND IT!!!!

All jokes aside, I actually enjoyed this! I don’t read a lot of romance, and when I do, it usually ends in a heap of smut that I found myself super uncomfortable with. But this was just… it felt perfect. It was really great world building, I loved the characters and how they intersected with each other. There were so many tense parts emotionally and it just pushed me to keep reading, which I loveeeee love LOVE about fantasy ...more

I loved hopping back into this world after reading the Caraval series. It was enjoyable to read about Jack and Evangeline in this book. I don't know why, but I never liked Jacks in the Caraval series, but now that he is a main character in this series, you get to see Jacks in a different light. I loved the character of Evangeline and how she develops during this book. The connection between Jack and Evangeline is so interesting to read. Entiendo un poco el hype que tiene el libro pero queda corto en varios aspectos, me encantó no digo que no pero ni mayor disgusto es Evangeline, me exaspera muchísimo, creo que de haber tenido que aguantarla como lo hizo Jacks la hubiera entregado a los vampiros o yo misma me deshacía de ella. Seguramente lea los otros dos libros pero por Dios, ojalá la pelaita está abra los ojos y no sea tan pendeja, me enoja.
