I ATE this book up so hard. I genuinely could not put it down all day. I still don’t know what it was that intrigued me so much, but whatever it was, it worked.

The storyline was chef’s kiss, with an amazing amount of twists and intense moments. I really had the wrong idea the WHOLE entire book so I now feel stupid for not realizing everything sooner.

Holly Jackson could never write a bad book. I FUCKING LOVE BEL! I think she is one of the most relatable protagonists I’ve ever read. Yes I know she’s “unlikable” but I don’t actually care. Let me formally apologize to my father for comparing him to Charlie he’s still like Pip’s dad in my eyes NOT Bel’s dad. As of now this is #2 on my list (nothing beats a good girl with bad blood). this was a decently good read, but i kept ending up comparing it to agggtm! i wish ash and bel got together like with ravi and pip, and i thought it would’ve been cool if holly jackson mentioned the two, maybe as a suburban couple or top crime podcasters or detectives or something??

It might actually be my favorite book she's ever written. The plot was so freaking amazing and the characters were so humane and well written.
