I’m still making my way through my shelves by picking my book titles out of a bag, and it’s been fun and exciting wondering what I’m going to read next as I finish up each one.
This one was just okay, but honestly part of that way due to the fact that it was marketed as a scary book to read around Halloween. I always have a hard time rating Ruth Ware's books. On one hand, she's overly dramatic (the narrator, too!) and I guessed the ending of this one well before the end. But, on the other hand, her endings tend to be good. The middle parts are sometimes flat but she ends well and if a book ends well then I usually leave with a positive opinion of it.
