[close] I'm picky about what fiction I read, but always enjoy this series. This is a modern Pagan read with realistic characterization, mystery, adventure, and of course mystical experiences. It's a rare novel series which started during the pandemic and yet, while realistic, is not bogged down by dreariness.

My quick review of this latest novel:

I finally got time to finish this novel, and like the previous books in the series, I love it. The introduction of new characters is welcome as, though other series' don't do this well, this one weaves the new characters naturally into the story.

This is not a series to jump into out of order. I recommend that people read this modern pagan series by release date, as it includes a sister series which crosses paths with the main series, and a prequel.
