[close] This author is really good... he's a Classics Professor who has written a book on the topic of how slavery was handled in Ancient Rome but done it in such a way as if he was conducting an interview with a slaveholder of that time and culture. Somehow he's taken a very difficult subject like slavery and created a book that is informative and also quite easy to read but certainly uses his style to get the important messages across while still keeping things interesting enough that you will want to keep reading!
