This book is one excellent example of why I can't trust my childhood opinion of things. I thought I'd given this book a fair shot and read 50 pages or so. Reading it through this time, I think perhaps I gave it less than twenty. I remember thinking the pacing was slow and it was boring, but this book isn't boring... So it's for the best that my wonderful husband really likes these books and made me reconsider.

I really liked this one. The fact that he started writing it when he was 15 is rather interesting.
