A non-fiction but reads like a novel, more specifically a crime novel. It is about the world’s largest unsolved art theft that happened in Boston in 1990. Such an interesting story because of how the museum remains post theft (empty picture frames on walls where the stolen art once lived). Elizabeth Steward Gardner founded the museum with her own private collection and left it in her will that nothing was to be removed or replaced. I love this book because you learn something, it’s historical, and it’s a great read.
