The pacing in the beginning dragged quite a bit, and I honestly found myself getting bored. Everything felt rushed—especially the romance and main plot development—which made it hard to stay invested. I almost gave up a couple of times. That said, I’m glad I pushed through, because the last 100 pages completely turned things around. The plot twist genuinely caught me off guard, and it made the whole experience feel more worthwhile in the end.
