What Members Thought

2020 re-read: In this binge re-read, the problematic bits (which aren’t plentiful but do exist) were like little slaps of reality when I was immersed in the story. I was grateful that the female antagonists weren’t fat and bitter, just bitter, but there was a harsh comment from Fin that reminded me of what KA thinks of fat women, which frankly wasn’t pleasant. But when I power through those bits, the rest still works for me, including the epilogue.

Dusty and Mike's story... Didn't love it.
But Reesee and Fin.... LOVE.
The book just wasn't as good as the other ones from this series. I liked the suspense feel of the others and I just didn't get that from this. I was just disappointed. ...more
