Well, most CoHo books either make me cry, swoon, or just get angry. This one, however, just made me cranky and wondering why I insisted on finishing it.

We have a rather unlikable female lead who - against her better judgement - agrees to work ghost writing in a rather isolated location - think Wuthering Heights. The male lead is rather neutral, which is very startling when he starts exhibiting emotional reactions.

And then there is the twist at the end. Well, I'm afraid that just exasperated me ...more

****use caution reading this book. If you ade easily disturbed by child neglect and abuse.

This book... oh this book. It had me hooked and terrified at the same time. I couldn't put it down and was actually creeped out by it many times. This book is so well written it seemed to me that it was my life and I was the one experiencing those things. 100% recommend to other readers. ...more
