The 2017 review still applies... But this time I really think Joe was a D!*K!! I'm going to go ahead and change the rating to 4 stars. And this book was too long.

I don't think I loved it as much the second time around... I'm very sad about that. But I still enjoyed it a lot. I think I'll just leave the original rating, but if this was the first time I read this and my current feeling were my first feelings, I'm thinking it would be 4 stars. (view spoiler) ...more

Loved my re read/listen to violets and joes story. Forgot just what an ass-hole joe actually was, but the bigger the ass the hero is the greater the adoration is for him when he turns around a and loves his woman.
