2020 re-read: Still among the best of KA’s books, the narrative still flowed, the tension was tight, and the romance still gives me all the feels. I do find it funny that Colt reminds me of Chace from Breathe and he’s a wee bit sexist and I still get irritated at the idea that this separation hinges on absolutely no communication for 15 years but I’ll say it’s a testament to KA’s storytelling abilities that she made it work for me anyway.

August 2017 reread: something about their relationship just didn't sit with me right or something. I don't even know what it was though. I still enjoyed the suspense and the storyline though. ...more
