I absolutely loved this book. It's been a long time since I really loved a contemporary story. I'm so glad I gave this one a go.

I really liked the flashback chapters. I love seeing West and Indy grow into their love and Indy grow into her love of the ranch. I just loved both West and Indya, and everything about this story. It hit just right. Happy reading! ...more

Childhood memories have a way of shaping the future. For Indya, those summer trips to Montana meant more than anyone could imagine. Crossroads is here!! This is the first in a new series by author Devney Perry and I couldn’t wait to dive in. First – let me say the cover to this book is BEAUTIFUL!! I don’t know if it is the majestic nature of the trees or the reflection of the water, but this cover simply slayed me.

Alright – let me tell you about Indya and West (coolest names ever). This two childhood sweethearts will captivate you from the very first flashback. Their paths are interwoven throughout life and even more so now that Indya has taken ownership of the Haven ranch. The pace of the plot kept me glued to my reader. In fact, I read the book in one sitting. I couldn’t get enough of these two characters. It is hard to believe that the book is only about 275 pages. What I can say is the story is packed with everything that makes Devney Perry’s writing the constant in a sea full of novels. Haven River Ranch is going to be one series you don’t want to skip. I can’t wait to see what will unfold throughout the rest of the series. Simply put – you need the Havens on your book list!!
