**I would like to thank NetGalley, Forever (Grand Central Publishing), and Kennedy Ryan for an ARC of this book! This will be available on 3/5/2024.**

I knew nothing about this author until I saw someone post that this book was available as "read now" for 24 hours only. I immediately requested it and promptly started Before I Let Go in preparation. That book was AMAZING and I was so excited to start this one immediately after.

“All loves aren’t created equal. Some spring from the earth and wrap around and twine through our souls like vines. Some are plants that start with tiny seeds in your heart and blossom over time, nurtured by years and commitment.”

I adored this story! It is the second book in the Skyland series, but can be read as a stand-alone. A definite must read! I listened to about half of it on audiobook and the narration is wonderful!

Soledad Barnes & Judah Cross

Soledad's life is turned on its axis when some truths about her husband come to light in a very public way. After reading the first book some of his secrets were no surprise.

What I liked was that she didn't let the things that came to light keep her down. She grieved the relationship, but she remained strong for their daughters. And with the help of her friends and even Judah, she got her life back on track better than it was when she was with her ex.

Solid 4⭐️ book! I enjoyed this one far more than the first book. It was engaging from the first page which showed I was into the pacing of the story. Loved Soledad’s journey and it was so relatable with learning self-love and accepting/finding yourself. Her relationship with her daughters was so beautiful to see. They truly are each other’s foundation and seeing her parenting style come from a place of understanding is beautiful. Same with Judah and his relationship with his boys (both who are a ...more

Amazing! First, I am a huge KR fan and absolutely love her writing; this book did not disappoint. Soledad and Judah are wonderful together. I loved Soledad's journey of self-discovery and, to me, learning to love herself. Some of the themes in the story are hard (distant and untrustworthy spouse, autistic twins, being hurt, starting over), so emotions run high. KR writes with an unparalleled sensitivity that not only captures your heart, but makes you dig deep and take a long, serious look at yo ...more

Another brilliant romance by Kennedy Ryan. The book is so much more than just a regular romance. Highly recommend!

I am not a fan of marriages dissolving and most of the book which is supposed to be a new romance, taking a back seat to the previous marriage troubles. It is well written and the H and h are great but spend very little page time together.
