After a rather lengthy and disappointing dry spell filled with less than riveting reads, the real Vi Keeland has returned with an all-around winner (wrapped in a very handsome book cover, too).

When she’s at her best, plotting great storylines is at the top of this author’s list of strong skills. And here you’ll find lots of engaging and enthralling interactions. This is another fantastic stand alone by Vi Keeland.
I absolutely love both Josie and Fox.
The sunshine/grump trope is one of my favorites!
Josie is the sunshine in this story. She has recently gone through a lot. She has had some struggles. She is overcoming and getting better.
Being in her dad's hometown is helping her even more.
She's getting back to herself.
Fox is the grumpy contractor next door. His past isn't pretty. There are some tragedies that have happened. He's a great guy. He just has so ...more

This story is absolute magic! I fell in love with Josie, Fox, Laurel Lake and all its inhabitants!! There is heart, heat, humor and all the swoon!
