Mostly bc the plot felt slow and such a long book
I listened at 2.20 towards the end

I love Violet Sorrengail’s determination.
Iron Flame moves the war out of Basgiath War College to its surrounding border towns and military outposts. The book immediately picks up from where Fourth Wing book ends. We enter the seat of rebellion and gain a deeper understanding of the Gryphons, their fliers, and of Xaden Riorson.
Violet is no longer gullible, believing the lies told by the college, military leaders, and her mother. She earns these truths by not dying in Resson (Fourth Wing,) by los ...more
