Quick(ish) Review
Bear with me, I’m writing this on little sleep over the past few days because I took every spare minute to read this book. And you should too if you love fantasy with a good dose of romance.
I literally had no spoilers going in and I’d encourage anybody who’s interested in this do the same. The tension that Ms Yarros builds from page to page is truly well done, and while there’s things that played out as expected, there’s still plenty of surprises to keep you on your toes.

As a thriller reading girl I wasn’t sure whether to read Fourth Wing or not but seeing the super high rating from such a huge number of readers on Good Reads, in the end I couldn’t resist and in the past I have enjoyed the odd fantasy/romantasy story.
For me Fourth Wing was a mix of Divergent and Harry Potter with a touch of Hunger Games and with a pinch of spice to heat it up. I actually liked that the spice was minimal and came near the end of the book, having seen a reviewer say it ...more

Ok. I feel this book is very YA at best. Young teen even. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. But found it very hard to get invested or connected to this book. But stuck it out.
