I really wasn’t sure whether I was going to read this. See I was never a fan of Nick right from Knight’s book. But being it’s a KA book, I caved. And I’m a bit conflicted. Why? KA managed to turn my feelings about Nick around, as I knew she would, but I really don’t know how - I didn’t get to see much of his redemption, this mostly happened off page.
And Olivia – hoo boy if ever there was a time for KA to let loose and give us a character’s history it was Olivia. I did NOT like her at all in the ...more

3 3/4 "Dawn is coming" Stars!
Overall I really like the book. I liked Olivia a lot, I guess I got where she was coming from and why she was the she was. At first I thought she needed to grow a backbone, but as events were revealed, I realized she was living in Hell with no rescue in sight; and just trying to survive. Even the desperate, but overly stupid act of approaching Nick in the club, I understood. (view spoiler) ...more

3.5 - 4 STARS!
I enjoyed this book as opposed to absolutely loving, Knight, Creed and Raid. For me it lacked something. It was a bit slow to get going (in regard to the H and h's first meeting whether bad or good, sparks always tend to fly and you normally don't have to wait that long). Don't get me wrong when they did actually meet it was kinda hot.
The suspense aspect of the story overshadowed the romance part and in my opinion a good storyline without the alpha male romancing his woman in true ...more

4.5 Sebring Stars!
Loved this book. I haven't had the chance to read this first four books in this series yet. That being said I really enjoyed this one. For me it was so different from the other KA books that I've read. It was sexier and bit more intense. I didn't want to put it down. I definitely am looking forward to going back and reading the first four books in this series. ...more

Sigh.
Nick was an asshole, and now he's not.
Olivia is a hot mess of "I'm worthless, owned by my family, and I don't deserve love" through most of the book.
But what breaks both of them down? Hot sexy times.
No contact outside of bed. No getting to know you. No conversation. Just Nick being a not alpha male and Olivia a broken soul that he needs to save.
It had potential, then got really slow in the middle...then at the end there was some action again. Idk. It was okay. ...more
